I have just registered for the site, but when I log in I receive this message: "Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again.". Why can't I log in?
If you've registered successfully for the Lionbridge Secure File Transfter Portal (LSFTP), you should have been sent an email to confirm your email address. On the confirmation email, there is a link to click to confirm you have received the notification. Once you have clicked that link, you should be able to log into the site.

I thought that I was being sent a Word document, but when I log into my account, there is only an .exe file waiting. Where is my document?
When a user sends a file or file(s) to another user on the LSFTP, the file(s) is/are zipped into a self-extracting zip file. To retrieve your document (or any type of file that matter) all you have to do is click the .exe file link on the MyAccount Page, follow the prompts to download the file onto your computer, double click the .exe file that you've downloaded and follow the wizard's instructions that pop up to unzip your file(s).

Wait though, I don't have any software that will unzip this file. Can I still get my document?
Absolutely! These self extracting zip .exe files are totally self contained. They require no additional software to be installed to your computer.

What about the password they are asking me for when I use the self extracting zip .exe file's wizard?
You just have to use the same password that you used to to log into the website with.

What happens to my document password when I change my website password?
The documents in the repository are updated with your password changes at the same time as your website password changes. All documents downloaded after your password change will have your new password regardless of when they were sent to you.

Why is the MyAccount page telling me that 'Only Lionbridge, cls-communication, and lionbridge email domains are valid.' when I try to send a document?
This website was made for Lionbridge, CLS Communication and Lionbridge employees and their clients to send large documents back and forth. If you receive this message, it is because you are registered without a 'lexitech' or 'cls-communication' email domain and therefore you may only send documents to other users with the domains 'lexitech' and 'cls-communication'.

Can I send multiple documents to a user?
You can send up to one gigabyte of documents to any user at one time. That could be one very large file or many files of different sizes. Just click the 'Add' button when you are selecting your documents and additional text boxes and 'Browse' buttons will appear for you to fill in with document paths to send to your user.
8.
How long will the documents be stored in the website's repository after I've received notification?
A user has up to one month to retrieve their documents starting the day they were sent notification that they have received documents. After the month, your document will be deleted from the repository.
